Business Development Manager - Antibody Drug Discovery & CRO

With a global presence, our client specializes in providing cutting-edge solutions for the creation of genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs) and offer advanced gene editing services to support the needs of researchers and pharmaceutical partners worldwide.

Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in steering our clients' business towards growth by establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Your role involves the identification of new business opportunities through comprehensive market analysis, allowing you to tailor cutting-edge gene editing, efficacy & toxicology, antibody discovery and mouse model generation services to meet industry demands. Your focus will be on driving client acquisition and nurturing existing clients, acting as a key point of contact whilst maintaining commercial oversight and exceeding sales targets. Collaborating closely with the scientific team, you will ensure seamless alignment between client requirements and internal capabilities. Additionally, you will represent the company at industry events, building a robust professional network to further enhance our client's market presence. Your contributions will play a crucial part in expanding the company's client base and elevating their position as a leader in genetic engineering technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree with relevant industry experience, or Ph.D in bioscience field.
  • Strong understanding of gene editing technologies, CRISPR/Cas9, and mouse model generation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Willingness to travel to clients, conferences, trade shows etc.
  • Proven experience in business development within the biotechnology or life sciences industry is a plus.
