Job Purpose:
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for overseeing the commercial strategy for the Bioanalytical Solutions (BAS) service areas of the business. This includes managing Business Development Managers to drive revenue growth and secure new business. Building relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and maintaining a consistent pipeline of orders.
Successful candidates must have:
• Demonstrated success in commercial leadership and business management
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record in management and coaching
• Extensive knowledge of the life science industry
• Thorough understanding of bioanalytical science
• Substantial commercial experience in technical sales or client relationship management within a CRO setting
• Proficient understanding of contract law
• Familiarity with GLP/GCP
