Our client holds over 30+ years of experience providing a full suite of high-quality clinical research services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies, as well as academic and government organisations. They are going through an exciting period of growth having well established themselves in the US market and now look to expand into the UK.

Job Purpose:

The Director of Business Development (UK) will be responsible for leveraging both new and existing relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK, with a focus on pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. You will work closely with internal teams to develop and execute strategic plans for the UK market, and will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.

Successful candidates must have:

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
• Substantial commercial experience in technical sales or client relationship management within a CRO setting.
• Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
