William Parker Group are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a background in Biopharmaceutical laboratory testing to join a fast growing yet well established client.

Our client provides a range of services to the pharmaceutical, food and consumer goods industry, priding themselves on building collaborative, trusting and caring relations with their clients whilst delivering their work to the highest of standards.

As the Key Account & Business Development Manager you will have the following....

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and develop mutually beneficial relations with existing clients.
• Analyse, innovate, and develop an engagement plan for the target market. Identify, lead and prioritise sales growth with existing clients.
• Support the team through external events.
• Lead major proposals, build client relationships, and close sales.
• Serve as key client contact, liaise with operations and technical experts, maximise opportunities, and drive new business.
• Plan and review cycles, establish sales pipeline, and automate CRM workflows.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on your assigned accounts, identify future opportunities and new service offerings to compliment current portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification relating to pharmaceutical industry.
• Good understanding of GMP.
• Excellent communicator with proven negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse data and generate reports.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Proven experience of developing commercial relations within the life science industry, preferably with a CRO background.
