Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in the healthcare industry to establish a strong customer base.
  • Take a lead role in developing proposals and presentations to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Implement effective sales and business development strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide support in structuring deals and pricing through business value analysis and skillful negotiation.
  • Stay updated with regional marketing trends and act as a market advisor to the wider business.
  • Identify customer needs and trends, building a robust sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
  • Assist in coordinating and implementing marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals.
  • Introduce new product/service developments to prospective clients.
  • Act as a representative of the company at regional trade shows, conferences, and events.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
  • Complete all mandatory company training and job-specific training required for the role.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development/sales within the healthcare services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and requirements.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and manage commercial projects.
  • Independent problem solver with creativity, organization, and analytical skills.

Travel Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a valid passport and full, clean driver's license.
  • Ability to travel within the designated region for customer meetings, trade exhibitions, and events.
  • Willingness to attend international training events and conferences as required.
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable:

  • Experience in pathology, laboratory, oncology, academic medical centers, or clinical services.
  • Familiarity with Digital Pathology.
  • Experience in field-based client relationship management or sales.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or pathology services, specifically in the designated region.
  • Familiarity with clinical guidelines and regulations.
