William Parker Group is collaborating with this dynamic CRO, offering a diverse range of services such as scientific analysis, consultancy, product development, and training to global clients in the biopharmaceutical, food, drink, healthcare, and consumer goods sectors. They are currently seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to leverage existing customer relationships and drive sales by upselling our exceptional service offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer-centric service offerings and foster a strong commercial connection between our organization and clients.
  • Effectively manage existing client relationships while proactively identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver comprehensive service offerings that meet client needs.
  • Develop innovative strategies to engage the target market, prioritize sales growth, nurture client relationships, and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, working closely with operations and technical experts to maximize existing client opportunities and identify potential prospects through strategic business development efforts.
  • Regularly conduct tactical planning cycles, ensuring a robust sales pipeline and streamlining workflows using our CRM system.
  • Actively engage in professional industry bodies, fostering valuable networks and presenting findings to the commercial lead and technical leadership team. Identify relevant seminars and events to enhance client relationships and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification in the pharmaceutical industry with a solid understanding of GMP.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to create reports and conduct performance analyses supporting business SLAs.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, successfully delivering projects within agreed parameters.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
