Our Client is a biotechnology company specializing in the research, development, and production of recombinant proteins, antibodies, and other biological products for the life sciences research and diagnostic markets. They offer a wide range of products, including recombinant proteins, monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, ELISA kits, and more. During the COVID-19 pandemic,they played a significant role in producing antigens, antibodies, and other critical reagents for research related to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This included producing proteins for diagnostic test development, vaccine research, and serology studies.
Our Client are now looking to add a Key Account Manager to their already successful commercial team. This position will be responsible for the United Kingdom territory.
The role involves spearheading business development efforts with strategic partners, nurturing and expanding key account relationships. This entails engaging with clients at a technical level, fostering clear and effective communication to address their needs and provide valuable insights. Achieving company sales targets is a pivotal aspect of the position, where a proactive approach to identifying market trends and conducting competitor analysis will be crucial in driving growth. Attending international conferences further amplifies the role's impact by staying attuned to industry advancements and networking with peers.

What our client are looking for:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a Master's degree in a biological or pharmaceutical science field. Prior experience in bio-reagent sales or related roles is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, along with demonstrated capabilities in presentations and interpersonal interactions, are essential. The role requires a motivated and independent individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
